Turtleneck | Plaid Skirt | Boots

My favorite season is going by so quickly! With my sister's wedding this month seemed to just fly by and I'm so excited to celebrate Halloween and really start the holiday season. As you may be aware of, fall is also my favorite season for fashion, because I find it's way easier to get creative with layering or styling different textures together. This year I really needed to upgrade the basics in my wardrobe and I found some amazing success with Walmart! They always have great affordable fashion, but they truly stepped up this year, I mean look at this skirt! 😍

Turtleneck | Plaid Skirt | Boots

I love a good turtleneck, and I ordered this one in a few colors! The material is soft, not too thin that it's see through, but not so thick that it feels suffocating. It's absolutely a steal and if you're looking for the perfect layering basic for fall and winter, this is it! It goes so well with other solids, or style it with a fun pattern like this plaid skirt. The skirt also comes in a brighter yellow, so you can mix and match to create a look that best matches your vibe! This outfit is so easy to throw on and look cute, definitely must haves this season!

White Sweater | Knit Pants | Similar Boots

Looking for something when the weather is a bit chillier? This all knit look is the way to go! The second I felt the material of these pants I knew they were going to be a go-to comfort item this fall! It's a structured but soft knit so you could get away with wearing these to the office but also out to dinner with the girls depending on how you style them, but either way you'll feel like you're in the comfort of sweats because of the way these are made. Honestly a dream come true!

Something about this sweater screams put together, maybe it's all the clean lines. I love dressing it a bit down with the knit pants for a more "I've got things to accomplish, but I'd like to be comfortable" OOTD. Walmart's knits section is so good this year and has a ton of pieces that fit the structured yet cozy style!
