Hey wonderful friends, long time no see! I've been in the process of moving over the past two months and things have been, well, crazy! I'm officially almost settled in at my new place in Dallas, but still waiting on a few big things to get delivered and then I can officially call this place home! In the meantime, I wanted to jump back here on the blog and get things started again. And what better way to do that then with an unboxing post from Babbleboxx?! If you're a regular around here you may have seen a few of these on the blog, and what can I say Babbleboxx always has such wonderful brands and products - and this box is specifically in honor of National Women's Month! So without further ado, let's get started! :)
1. Harlequin Books

One of my goals for 2019 has been to read more, and although I've basically failed that so far (I repeat, moving has been difficult, haha!) I can't wait to start reading these best seller beauties! I've already started The Cliff House by RaeAnne Thayne and it hits home a little bit. I won't spoil things for you, but if you like a feel-good book that makes you want to get closer to your family and home (despite the drama!) this one is for you. I also received Call Your Daughter Home by Deb Spera and The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson. Both of which I'm excited to have on my reading list!

These books are by women and are incredible stories, it's amazing when I took a glance at my bookshelf and realized I hardly had any fiction novels written by women. That's about to change! P.S. If you have a woman in your life that represents strength (real or fictional!) why not nominate her at StrongWomenreads.com and enter for a chance to win a sweet swag bag full of goodies, including 6 new books!

2. Desire Flow Sneakers From Earth Shoes

I have to say I am such a HUGE fan of Earth Shoes! They are so dang comfortable, but the style is still perfect. Their footbeds have heel to toe cushioning and reinforced arch support (!!) and are created responsibly to make sure they use the least packaging and material possible. How cool is that, right? I love these Desire Flow sneakers, the black suede makes it feel a little more dressy than your traditional tennis shoe. It's also super breathable when walking around, but my favorite part is that they're slip ons!

3. Swedish Massage From Hand & Stone

Sorry for the poorly lit photo for this one, but what can you do, it's a massage room! Y'all this massage was incredible. I've had maybe 4 or 5 professional massages in my life, but the way my masseuse and I communicated here was great. Although it was a swedish massage she gave me some deep tissue/sport massage on some areas where I hold most of my tension (aka my shoulders and my butt 😂) She was super professional and honestly she tackled each of my needs with the best care. I loved the massage so much I even scheduled an eyebrow waxing for the same time and they were able to accommodate me easily! My esthetician was super great as well and we chatted the whole time we did my brows.

I'm always weary when getting massages done since I have numerous back issues. I had scoliosis surgery about 10 years ago (wow!) and the day before my massage I had thrown out my back moving and unpacking my stuff, so I made all my worries known to my masseuse and she made she to check in with me multiple times if things were feeling good or if I needed some extra attention somewhere. Overall it was deeply relaxing and also rid my body of all the tension I held onto while moving! I'll definitely be heading back to my local Hand & Stone for some more massages + treatments, especially since it's so affordable! They currently have an introductory rate of either $49 or $59 for their Swedish massage depending on the location!

4. G-Shock S Series Watch From Casio

This sport's watch was literally created for active women! So if you're on the go and need a durable watch that will last throughout anything you do, this is it. The G-Shock has a bunch of cool features as well including water resistance, an auto LED light, 4 daily alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, and countdown timer. Plus I'm a fan of the color combo here as well! This photo doesn't do it justice, but it's a matte navy with rose gold and pink accents, so cute!

5. Your Only Cleanser From Knours.

Guys, Knours. skincare line works with your hormones to keep everything in check! AKA no more period/stress acne. (Any one else get those pesky zits while on your period?) Your Only Cleanser is EWG Verified which means it meets the strictest standards for health and doesn't use harsh chemicals. You use this like a traditional cleanser, but this clean beauty product actually washes your face twice! It starts as an oil to wipe any traces of makeup that you may have on your face and then transforms into a foam to re-cleanse. How cool is that?

I've been using it for a week so far and have been loving it! It even helped me get rid of a zit that would just not go away! I personally love the dual-cleanser part because it makes me feel like I'm getting everything off my face.

6. Artisanal Cocktail Mixer From Root Crafted

Oh boy do you guys know how much I love to make cocktails? I don't drink all that much, but when I do you can bet a delicious cocktail will be in my hand. I'm not really into beer and wine, so finding good cocktail mixers is great! This Hibi-Hibi one from Root Crafted is SO good! It has all natural and organic ingredients and was created by two moms (who definitely know their good drinks!) and it's the perfect drink for when you want to elevate your relaxing time. The Hibi-Hibi flavor is reminiscent of a fruity tea blend you would find at a cute local shop. It's a freshly brewed hibiscus tea  blended with lemon, lime, sugar, elderflower syrup and a little bit of honey. Just add two parts Root and one part your favorite spirit and you've got the perfect cocktail!
