I actually stumbled upon this dress while I was out shopping with my dress and was so happy when I saw that it was actually on sale. I got it for 60% off which is always nice! I'm not one to normally wear maxi dresses, but this one just felt so me. I love the pretty peach color and the subtle floral print, just light and feminine enough that I feel like I can wear it all throughout spring and summer. Now I know that summer is almost over and this outfit is already becoming slightly irrelevant, especially here in Seattle where I think Fall is already starting to show on some days, however if you're in almost any other part of the country I know that the heat is far from over!
I also know that there are still plenty of summer weddings that are happening, and don't you think this style of dress would be perfect for a more formal setting? The dresses I've tagged are pretty similar in style to this one, so if you're on the hunt I think I found some great options for you! They're just formal enough for a wedding, but definitely don't pull this out for a black tie event!

Also let's take another minute to talk about these espadrilles right here. Yes, these are the same ones I've worn MULTIPLE times, because they just keep looking great with almost all my summer looks. They're super high quality, come in multiple colors, and are SO dang comfy which is a surprise since they're decently high.
Another thought that's been on my mind lately, but don't you hate it when you see bloggers wearing a new pair of shoes each time they post an outfit? I'm all for new inspiration, but not if it means going into debt to keep up with the joneses. I'm trying to incorporate a bit more "recycling" of my closet into the outfits I share here and on Instagram. If you haven't noticed, the jeans from this post are probably my most worn piece of clothing! Seriously I think I need to buy some more jeans, I'm sure y'all are sick of seeing them, haha. But I would love to know your opinion on things. Do you prefer to see new things each time I post an outfit, or would you like a little more of me showing how to restyle certain pieces?

Now go kick some Monday butt and get your week started off right! I'm planning on making this one of my most productive weeks, so I challenge you to as well. Hope you all have a wonderful week!
I love seeing bloggers recycle their favorite fashion finds- I do it all the time! It's not realistic to keep buying tons of new stuff each week :)

I appreciate fashion/style bloggers who repeat outfits, and show them on Instagram or on their blogs! It makes them much more relatable because unless you're rich AF, I don't think any of us own that much stuff to not repeat outfits every now and then.
ReplyDeleteI love maxi dresses - the print on this one is so delicate! I agree, I don't understand how fashion bloggers keep finding, buying, and wearing new things. I have an unofficial capsule wardrobe of sorts and wear the same thing all the time, ha. More power to them, I guess!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore maxi dresses and have about 8 of them that I practically live in during the summer months. They are just easy! And here on the coast of North Carolina, easy and cool are necessary! I love the style and femininity of this one especially and your shoes are the bomb! Now. Let's see the new haircut!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress because if you live in the south, the colors can work even for the beginning part of Fall! Super cute and love how you styled it!

"I'm all for new inspiration, but not if it means going into debt to keep up with the joneses. " all of this. I definitely have been recycling more pieces this year on my IG.
ReplyDeleteI love when fashion bloggers and influencers repeat their outfits, or pieces from them. It is SO unrealistic for people to dish out the cash for all new stuff, all the time. Loving this dress too!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous on you!! I'm loving the colour
