Tie Front Dress (Currently sold out, but will most likely return for the NSale!) | Booties
Purchase: Tie Front Knit Dress
I bought this dress on a whim after seeing an ad for it (I guess sometimes those ads do win!) and it's so perfect for a cool summer night. I'll also definitely be bringing it into the fall with taller boots! I love the tie front detail and the material is slightly heavier than your average 'summer' dress which is great for Seattle weather. Although the dress is currently sold out I'm pretty sure this one will come back just in time for the NSale in a few weeks! But for those of you who can't wait I found an almost IDENTICAL one that's in t-shirt dress material instead of knit! Plus it's cheaper than this one anyhow, so might just be the deal you've been looking for!

Apologies for the horrible quality of this outfit selfie, I was and am still trying to find the light in my new bedroom and this was one of the first trials! Everything I'm wearing here is new, but the only thing that I can actually link to are the sandals. The top and skirt I bought at TJMaxx and Marshalls so I can't share any exact styles. The top is Lucky Brand, and I was so excited to find it on such a discount, plus the color is just beautiful. For someone who loves pink a lot, I definitely don't own enough of it in my wardrobe! I linked a similar lucky brand top above, although it is possible you could find the same one at your local TJMaxx.
I did try to find the most similar items and the denim skirt is almost exact although it's a bit of a lighter wash. As most of you know I've been looking for a good jean skirt for a while and I just lucked into finding this one while looking for home items at Marshalls. It's just the right amount of distressed and it isn't horribly short. Now onto the sandals, aren't they perfect for the summer?! If you can't tell by most of my fashion posts I love a good nude shoe. These come in both nude and black (my sister actually ordered the black!) and they are a great Rockstud/Marc Fisher dupe and right now they're 30% off if you buy one pair or 40% off if you buy two! I'm excited to wear these around New Orleans in two weeks because they have a little cushion in the base to make them extra comfortable. I might just order the black pair as well!
Purchase: Red Striped Dress
I could be wrong, but doesn't the above seem like the perfect 4th of July outfit? I've never been a huge Independence Day kind of gal, but now that I'm in a new city I'll definitely be making it out to see how Seattle celebrates! I picked this up at Old Navy while looking for light dresses for NOLA and have been basically wearing it every other day since! It's super comfortable, light weight, and you can just toss a jacket over it for nighttime! And for only $24, it's such a great buy. My only dilemma is that I can't wear a normal bra with this, so I either go strapless or a white bralette!
No matter how hard I tried I couldn't find this dress online! I purchased it at Nordstrom Rack and am in LOVE. I typically don't like to wear maxi dresses, they always make me look short or just never look right, but I tried this one on a whim and had to buy it. I love the slits, the polka dots, and the detail buttons, it's all just so feminine and pretty! The material is somewhat chiffon-y, which can make it a little warm, but with everything else going for it I'm still putting it as one of my favorite recent purchases!
What have you purchased lately? Which piece would you add to your wardrobe?
