Spring is nearly here! Quite honestly, because it begins tomorrow! People are starting to finally warm up, shake off the cold of the winter and get back into the swing of things. Part of that new routine means heading out to festivals and outdoor concerts! Coachella is only about a month away, and since I'm only a few hours from Indio I have a ton of friends who are gearing up for it. It's time to start thinking about how to best prepare for the fun events on your calendar, especially the ones that are outdoors! Sunglasses are an essential part of the festival season. I typically stay away from any rounded frames since I already have such a round face, so aviators and square shaped sunnies are my go-to. A Great Skincare Regimen

A lot of people forget to take care of their skin, especially before they go spend hours and days in the sun, but it's one of the most important things to prep your skin before heading out to your favorite events! Even though I'm an avid moisturizer, I like to step it up a bit a few weeks before going to a festival to make sure my skin says soft and flawless throughout everything. This Algenist POWER serum is brilliant for this exact purpose. It's meant to protect from dullness, fatigue, and uneven texture with alguronic acid. This is a solid serum that melts into your skin and automatically makes it feel refreshed. I haven't always been the biggest fan of serums, but that's because most of them give off a chemical type smell which I don't really trust on my skin. I love this Algenist pressed serum because not only does it make my skin look and feel great, but it smells sweet and natural. If I had to name the scent it would probably be what a "beach" themed candle might smell like. I've been using this along with my regular moisturizer and my skin feels amazing!

Bralettes have been my jam lately. It's tough to find one that stays in place, is comfortable, and doesn't look completely ridiculous, but thankfully Jockey has the perfect one! I love the throwback look of the retro stripe collection and as soon as I get my hands on a pair of overalls I'll be rocking this bralette under them! It will be such a fun 80's look (this line is inspired by Jockey's original Jockey For Her collection). This cotton bralette is perfect because the waistband is soft and flexible, leaving you free to move in any direction without discomfort. That means more dancing for you! Although I still wear theses during my down time at home because it's perfect for lounging as well.

Dual Hair Styling Tool

Multipurpose tools are the absolute best! No one wants to lug both a curling iron and a straightener in their bag when heading out for a trip, but you also can't be sure what style you'll want when the moment comes to get ready. I'm always a fan of curling my hair since I pretty much overused my straightener when I was in middle school (so many unflattering hair days that I just can't get past). And I am all for maintaining my healthy hair!

Some would argue that the music itself is the best part of a music festival and that's totally right, but the second best part is the dancing! Let's be honest standing in the heat and waiting around for different shows to start isn't anyone's favorite time, but once everything gets going everyone is having a blast! I personally find sneakers a little too warm for dancing and prefer to wear sandals, but that's just me.
