Five Beauty Products To Add To Your Vanity

in , by The Classic Brunette, 12:57:00 AM

As a blogger I come across a good amount of beauty products in my day to day life. There are some I love, some I hate, some that are good for only a few things, and some, like these, that I end up reaching for all the time. I always love hearing about what new products my friends are using, and that's always how I hope to come across here. Just another friend sharing my thoughts on some products that I'm loving! I typically test out new products for a few weeks to decide if I really like them as well as to give myself enough time to see if the product has any faults or gives me any kind of reaction. Here are five products that have made it into my everyday use pile!

Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette: I got this palette as a birthday gift last month after I had been eyeing it at Sephora for a while. I would go and swatch the palette every chance I got (check my Instagram story later to see the swatches!) and would just melt over how pretty they all were. I was drawn to all the shimmery pink shadows, but loved that there were also some good neutrals in the palette as well. Each shade is buttery smooth, including the glitter ones, and has an incredible amount of pigment. After purchasing the modern romance palette earlier this year I've kind of fallen in love with pink and red shadows. At first they were completely out of my comfort zone, but now I wear them all the time!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: I know everyone and their mom talks about this mascara, but I only got the chance to try it out a few months ago! I love that the formula is really light but gives so much when on the lashes. It lengthens and volumizes, and completely enhances each lash. Plus it doesn't make my lashes feel crumbly or dry like some other mascaras do!

Tarte Skin Twinle Lighting Palette Vol. II: Y'all know I love a good highlight! I don't know how Tarte manages to do it, but they just keep winning at everything. Their highlighters are always incredible (I'm obsessed with their limited edition Goddess Highlighter!) and this one is amazing as well. I love how the palette has a few shades for varying skin tones or just different looks. If I'm being honest, I just love to blend each shade together when using it to create something a little more unique! My favorite thing about this palette though? It smells like CHOCOLATE. 😍

Origins Precipitation Continuous Moisture Recovery: My skin has been SO dehydrated these past few weeks. I normally get pretty dry skin in the winter, but this year has just been horrible! I've had times where my skin burns in the shower because it's so dry and cracked. I love Origin's body products and this moisturizing lotion is the real deal. My skin soaks up most lotions on application, but this one is a bit thicker and lasts a little while. I normally take that as a good sign that it's working and doing its job! Plus with each application I can really feel the difference in the dryness!

Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer: I was always a little hesitant with lash primers. I'm not sure what it was about them, but I just thought it was a bit of a joke. In my mind mascara could do the job with or without the primer, but I have since changed my mind! This primer not only lengthens, but coats each lash in a white serum that makes it easier for the mascara to cling to. It also makes the lashes appear darker after mascara. It really amps up your mascara game!

Have you tried any of these products? I would love to hear your thoughts on these or if you have some favorites you've been loving lately!
