OOTD: Grocery Shopping

Todays outfit is very casual since really I'm only going to the grocery store and then coming back home to change right back into my pajamas. It was decently hot today, so I wanted a lightweight top and jeans that were comfortable. Also ignore my face in this picture since my dad was acting photographer for the day and kept making faces at me. I would have taken more pictures outside, but it was very windy, and my hair kept getting in my face.

The shirt looks a little orange in the picture for some reason, iPhone I blame you! But really it's an almost sheer white that definitely needs to be worn with a nude colored bra, or else you risk everything showing through. Normally I'm not one who loves the sheer shirts, but I love how soft and classic this one looks with a pair of jeans or tucked into a cute skirt. I got this double v-neck one at Forever21 a while ago, but they still carry a few just like it. 1 2 3

These jeans from Gap's 1969 collection are my absolute favorite! They are so comfortable, and I can move without hassle in them. They stretch any way I want them to, the skinny jeans are easy to tuck into boots, but also look fabulous with a pair of flats or sandals.

The shoes are from Target, but I got them about 2-3 years ago, so unfortunately they are no longer available. I found some similar ones in black here!

This necklace was actually a birthday gift from a friend, and I believe she got it from Forever21. I couldn't find this exact necklace on there since it's been half a year since I got it, but I found some gorgeous statement necklaces while on the search! 1 2 3 4

What are your go to errand outfits? Do you keep it simple like me or do you dress up a bit more?

As always feel free to email me with post suggestions and questions at theclassicbrunette, and use the hashtag #theclassicbrunette to show me your outfit of the day!
