September Favorites

This last month has been a busy one for me! I joined a sorority, three of my closest friends had birthdays, school started, and I've had lots of projects to work on. Fall is my second favorite season,(first is winter) and I'm so excited for the colder weather to come! I love layers and sweaters, scarves, and essentially everything autumn. This however, is an issue for me since I am currently in southern California where the lowest it really gets in the winter is 50 degrees. It was even in the upper nineties today! Anyway, although it's been a busy month, it's definitely been a fun one too!

I don't own this (yet), but its so darling. I saw the iPad case in the same print at Nordstroms the other day and was sad that I couldn't find it in the phone cases! But then, as luck would have it, I got my daily Kate Spade email that featured all the new phone cases! So I may or may not snag this one since I love it so much. Do I need it? No. Do I absolutely want it? Yes.

I'm not exactly a coffee person, but I have earlier classes this semester and sometimes need a boost of caffeine to keep me awake. During the colder months I normally order a regular white chocolate mocha, so I figured why not try an iced one. It not only satisfies my sugary cravings, but gives me the kick I need for when I'm running low on energy. I always tell myself that I don't want to get addicted to coffee, so I get a tall, but every time I regret not getting a bigger one. Literally so good.

This is my go-to red nail polish. It's bright enough to make a statement by itself, but is definitely dark enough to be considered a cooler tone. I use it all the time to make myself feel put together because it makes everything look that much more sophisticated and special. A lot of the time I pair it with a gold statement nail to make it pop a little bit more. I never have bubbles with it, it goes on in one coat, and the brush is very easy to use since it curves to your nails.

Love candles, but don't want to pay the ridiculous prices for them? Try Yankee Candle's fragrance spheres! I always end up calling them scent beads, but whatever you call them they are amazing. I bought the spiced pumpkin ones for my friend's birthday earlier in the month and almost kept them for myself since they smelled so good. It's the perfect way to get your dorm, apartment, or house smelling great, and no hassle or worry that something will catch on fire if you forget to blow it out! You simply open the tin, sit it on your desk, and it does all the work for you. Eventually the scent beads will start to get smaller, but I've had my own for about a week and they haven't lost any volume yet!

This is the type of thing to ask your parents to buy you for your birthday or a holiday present. It's $140, which is something I currently cannot afford, but it's definitely something worth saving for. It's such a versatile piece, and you can put it over basically anything to add a little warmth or just to have another layer. I would go with the navy, but that's just me!
